Archive Galleries
Step into my art world. These galleries are each a slice of my studio life divided into different media.

Paintings
Most of the year focuses on the hills to the shoreline, expressive landscapes and wildflowers. The archive holds a selection of figurative and abstract work that also appears from time to time.

Photography
Rural island life inspires the brush, and city visits encourage the camera. I love capturing life on the otherside in all its structure and contrasts. An antithesis to painting perhaps, as my images are about capturing light and life in the moment.

Digital illustration
I have many sketchbooks filled with pen drawings, some dating back thirty years. Discovering that I can work in digital ink in the same manner has been a revelation. I’m still exploring the possiblities.

Sketchbooks and process
Pen and notebook travel everywhere. Doodles on the train become future plans. Experiments in the studio inform new work. Voices on the radio lead to imagining faces. There is no beginning nor end, yet the studio holds an abundant potential.

Montage and manipulation
With a number of creatives avenues to explore, this collection of work is made up of digital experiments aiming to find cohesion or new narratives in the material.
