Many of my figurative and portrait paintings begin with listening to the radio. People unseen, yet listened to. I have drawn imagined figures as far back as high school art class, but over lockdown I found myself drawing many portraits from voice alone. This soon progressed to expressive paintings, some more abstract and others a little quirky.
